Richard Flannagan

Welcome to Bookchat,
the newsletter for thoughtful readers.

Featured Author:Richard Flannagan.

Paperchain is pleased to announce we will be hosting a literary lunch to celebrate the release of Gould's Book of Fish on the 19th October at the Friends Lounge National Museum.

..., and then finally, to his horror, then wonder, in which he discovers himself.

Yet the more I wrote the more I realised the Billy Gould's world was not a description of fish or even Van Dieman's Land of the 1820's, but an indictment of Australia today. It is about leaders who blind their followers by selling off their country, about how people survive by forgetting, and how they seek to make their revolt in the only way left to them, the love they might know for each other.

Gould's book of Fish is due for release in October.
